The peak of almost every incentive is farewell dinner the night before departure and having a nice view while enjoying an evening is a must. Therefore, we’ve prepared a selection of venues offering outstanding views in various parts of Western Slovenia. The first few ideas were presented in the previous blog post, and here’s more:
WORLD’S LARGEST CAVE CASTLE FROM A STONE TERRACE
The Slovenian Karst is world-known for numerous mysterious and magical places. The most famous of them are numerous Karst caves, attracting tourists from all around the world, whereas among less visited you’ll find world’s largest cave castle, Predjama castle. The medieval marvel has been perched in the middle of a cliff for more than 800 years, hiding a network of secret tunnels and a cave that has been home to a colony of bats. Dinner on the site can be preceded by a tour of the castle with candles and welcome drinks on the highest castle platform.
MAJESTIC PEAKS OF SLOVENIAN ALPS FROM CABLE CAR
Culinary pampering with fantastic views of mountain peaks and fresh air – that is what cable car dinner in the embrace of the Slovenian Alps is all about. The gondolas of a Slovenian ski resort Krvavec can be turned into small hovering restaurants, from which the guests enjoy panoramic views of alpine surroundings and picturesque valleys while being spoilt with modern Slovenian cuisine by renowned Slovenian Chefs. A truly unique experience with a Slovenian touch.
MILITARY COLLECTION IN THE PARK OF MILITARY HISTORY
The Park of Military History developed from old military barracks built by the Kingdom of Italy around 1930 and used also by the Yugoslav People’s Army. The museum centre is one of the largest military-historical complexes in this part of Europe and is an extraordinary venue for an evening event where the guests will be surrounded by tanks and cannons from the Second World War, fighter aircraft and a 19-metre-long P-913 Zeta sabotage submarine. The venue is a perfect choice for history enthusiasts and those on the search for new and outstanding experiences.
